BEST EVER GCSE RESULTS!

Thursday was another great day for Year 11 when our best ever GCSE results were announced. Overall, we achieved a 100% pass rate, with 73% of grades at A or A*.  Over 75% of the year group achieved 5 or more A or A* grades. 

Headteacher Dr Smith paid tribute saying; “These fantastic results are a just reward for all the effort put in by our students and staff.  We have students who have achieved 11 A* grades and those who, despite challenging circumstances, still achieved their potential.  We offer them our warmest congratulations and looking forward to seeing them in September.

Head of Year, Mrs Wendy Seville also praised the positive approach of the ‘Class of 2015’, “It was a delight to lead such a wonderful group of girls and I’m really pleased that so many of them have done so well.  We are lucky to take such a fabulous group on to A-level”
