Snow Disruption - 31st January 2019

We have been monitoring and risk assessing the current adverse weather/travel conditions via the Met Office.  In consultation with the bus companies we have taken the decision to send those students home who use AB Coaches or CM Coaches only. The students will be leaving school at 1pm today (31/01/19). We believe that those travelling on the Bennett bus will be currently unaffected and will be collected as normal at 3:45pm.

If you live in an area that you think maybe affected and you wish your daughter to leave early (from 1pm onwards) we request that you send your permission to your daughter’s mobile phone and ask her to show a member of staff at Reception.  Please ensure, if you are allowing your daughter to leave school early, that she is going somewhere safe and warm either at home, your workplace, friends or relatives etc.  The school is remaining open should this be an issue.

Currently there is only a Yellow warning for Torbay/Totnes/Teignbridge and surrounding areas and train services are currently unaffected, therefore the school will remain open as normal until 3:45pm.
