Spanish watersports holiday 2013

Spanish sunshine!

A group of Year 10 and 11 students left school just before the end of the summer term, travelling to Dover then down through France into Spain for a ten day watersports holiday!

We stayed in wooden cabins on a huge campsite called Cala Levado. We arrived in cloudy weather... a huge concern as when we left England it had been brilliantly sunny!! However, we need not have worried as the sun soon began to shine and the whole holiday was spent in fabulous heat!

Students took part in snorkelling, Pico sailing, wave boarding, kyacking and banana boating during the day times as well as climbing, archery, quizes, abseiling and team games in the evenings.

The disco ran nightly and we had the use of a lovely swimming pool when the beach, pebbles and sand became too much! A great day was spent at the waterpark in Loret and for many, a retail theraphy day in Tossa de Mar!
The whole group had a magnificent time and I cannot say how much I enjoyed the company of this group - they were brilliant!
I hope to run another trip in the future!
