All Year 7 – 11 Students


Second hand PE uniform and some new / but greatly reduced in price school uniform and PE uniform will be on sale every lunchtime this week from 12.35 to 1.15 in the Sports hall. All items £5 and under.


All bakers who have made something for the HUB Christmas cake competition please bring your bakes to the old hall at break time. We look forward to seeing all of your creations!


Choir today promptly at the start of lunch. Please make sure you all attend so we can run both songs

Orchestra - you will be rehearsing tomorrow during PERIOD 3. Please ask to be excused from your lessons.


The next question for the geography Advent Quiz is: 'What is the coldest temperature recorded on Christmas Day in the UK?'


Year 8 & Year 9: Please will all students in Mr Charlwood’s 8W PPP period 2 lesson AND 9X3 TRS lesson period 4 bring homework/private study work or reading material to IT1 for their class as Mr Charlwood is absent today. Thank you.


Years 7-9: There is a Christmas Decoration and Christmas Salt Dough Competition for Years 7 -9. The deadline is MONDAY 18th NOVEMBER. If you would like any further details please look at the Poster and Recipe on your Form Notice Board. House Points and Prizes are available. Good Luck!


Homeless People in Torbay – Christmas Gift Appeal for the Salvation Army and Leonard Stocks Centre

Further to our message in last Friday’s assembly, please can any KS3 student who would like to support this appeal by bringing any of the following items to the Sixth Form Reception area by the end of Monday 18th December.

Essentials- toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, flannel, hand wash, face wipes, hairbrush/comb etc.

Clothing- hat, scarf, woolly socks, gloves, etc.

Other- hand warmers, notepad, pens, other entertainment.

Sweet treats- chocolate bar, small bags of sweets etc.

If Form Captains could please help by collecting their Form’s gifts and taking them to the Sixth Form that would be great. We hope that as many of you as possible will be able to help make the lives of our local homeless people a bit happier this Christmas when we deliver our contributions after the end of term. Thank you so much.
