Strategic Priorities 2022-2025

Trust strategic priorities:

1. Secure the new school vision beyond the school gates.  Build new relationships and further develop existing collaborations to re-establish Torquay Girls’ Grammar School as a school within the community of Torbay (alongside its excellent national reputation).
2. Explore options for becoming or setting up a Multi Academy Trust.
3. Open the school gates to staff teacher training opportunities and colleagues from international schools.  Grow our own staff and provide exemplary CPD opportunities for staff alongside a relentless focus on staff well-being to recruit and retain the best staff.
4. A continued relentless focus on the delivery of the curriculum intent to ensure attainment and progress put the school in at least the top 25%.
5. Manage assets and finance to ensure reserves remain healthy and all operations support compliance.
6. Review our admissions policy to facilitate increased roll of students from vulnerable groups.
7. Review the Sixth Form strategy within the context of Torbay and local need.
8. Continue to provide opportunities for students which allows them to break the glass ceiling.
