Top TGGS Team goes through to CyberFirst Regional Final

Congratulations to Imogen Holter (8B), Mia Choules (8B), Orla Sullivan (8B) and Selina Li (8B) whose Beal1 team have made it through the online rounds of the CyberFirst Girls Competition 2020 and will now progress to the semi-final on 8th February. 

This national programme, launched in May 2016, and inspired and led by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), a part of GCHQ, began as a programme of opportunities helping young people explore their passion for tech by introducing them to the world of cyber security.  All of the participants have been absolutely amazing. Mr Goodwill (a parent and STEM ambassador) who helped to run the competition, stated that "...I thoroughly enjoyed both days. The students were amazingly focused and engaged which was superb to see."
