Joint Statement on Sexual Harassment from TGGS & TBGS

You will be aware of the media attention that schools have received regarding sexual harassment in response to the tragic death of Sarah Everard and the recent Ofsted review.  This heightened national awareness has given students a renewed voice to speak out and a chance for us all to expose and condemn all forms of sexual harassment. This national debate has brought the issue into sharp focus and we know there will be ways to improve how we educate and influence our students in this respect. 

We also know that lasting change takes both time and planning, so staff and students from both schools are working together this term to look jointly at how we can better educate our students in this respect. We will report back their findings in the Autumn term together with a joint action plan to improve attitudes.
