Head Girl Team

Hi everyone, we are Megan and Ami, this year’s Head and Deputy Head Girls. We are thrilled to continue the legacy of our school and hope we can be good advocates for our school’s ethos, representing students and communicating their wants and needs.

As Head Girls, we are responsible for being the school representatives to prospective and current students by running and organising open days, challenge/ “fun” days and entertainment. This year, we are planning to interact more with TBGS through events such as the joint Netball and the summer concert. As the world has modernised, so have we and are very active on our social media and email accounts, so if students have a query or problem, we can do our best to help.

We want to keep up our strong relationship with our partner school, Imprezza, and this year hope to help further develop their school with new infrastructure, we are raising money for this through the sponsored walk. In addition, we hope to organise events that are more diversity focused. We hope for students from every religion and culture to feel supported in our school.

To help us with embodying the student voice and encouraging house culture, we have a fantastic Student Leadership Team made up of the Head Girl’s Team and the Heads of Houses Team. For each house, a Head of House and Deputy Head of House are elected to strengthen and inspire house spirit, whilst allowing the students to develop a sense of belonging - fostering friendly competitive spirit along the way. This house system allows students to be supported by their peers from the beginning and develop a sense of identity within their year group. Luckily, the students can experience the competitive element throughout the year with mini competitions and the all-important sports day, as well as the end of year House Shout (where the singing can be heard from down the street).  To add onto this, we have our Head Girl’s Team who help us effectively plan school events, as well as collaborating with the student voice individually with their specific roles, such as a Charity Co-ordinator and Marketing and Publicity Officer

We take pride in representing such positive, smart, incredible, and hardworking students, and we are excited to make this an upcoming year to remember!
