TGGS v TBGS netball match

Congratulations to all of those who took part in the annual netball match against the boys' school, and many thanks to the hundreds of people who bought tickets for the match.  This now traditional event, taking place during charity week, raised almost five hundred pounds for good causes.

This year's eighties theme, as exemplified in the excellent 'Flashdance' video produced by the Head Girls team, provided for some superb sporting outfits amongst the competitors.

This year's winners were the boys, by a hefty margin, making up perhaps for their defeat last year.  And thanks to those in the boy's team who said how much they'd enjoyed doing sport in a fluorescent nylon ballet skirt and blond wig.  Must have a word with their PE teacher...
